
Christina Kaputsos is an award winning Creative Director, Illustrator, and Product & Experience Strategist originally from Weston Massachusetts. She earned her BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and holds both a UX certification from the Norman Nielsen Group and a Design Thinking certification from Cornell University.
Christina thrives on crafting inspirational multimodal experiences for both children and adults, encouraging them to learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. For over a decade she has been successfully building brands, products, apps, marketing campaigns and omni-channel digital experiences for B2B and B2C clients in a variety of industries including EdTech, Toy & Game, Children's Publishing, Government, Food Tech, Startup, Corporate, Non-profit & Lifestyle.
Christina currently is focused on children's toy & product working for the BEGiN company.
Christina also consults private clients, utilizing her expertise in creative direction, illustration, product design, brand development and experience design.
In her past Christina has worked as a Creative Director for Capital One, Creative Director for 1st American Systems & Services and Design Lead for an international brain assessment company. Her private client work has been featured in Times Square, YouTube and on the National Mall in Washington DC. She has also been an adjunct art/design lecturer and educator developing programs, curricula, projects, and events for students of all ages, as well as internationally. Christina has also mentored startups in her spare time.
Christina is passionate about STEAM education, children's content, games, products and toys that encourage imaginative play.
Christina’s skills cover a breadth of areas, including multimedia, brand identity, illustration, paper craft, toy / game design, stop motion animation and UX. Entrepreneurial by nature, she has built and launched 3 successful ventures, most recently The Doodle Challenge , a cognitive storytelling game won the Parent & Teacher Choice Award in 2019. Christina has led teams of designers, illustrators, copywriters, cognitive researchers, and developers both in-person and remotely. Driven to volunteer and give back to her community, Christina has also received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from the Obama Administration for her work with children in the arts.
Christina is currently based out of Rochester New York.
