Christina Kaputsos is an award winning Creative Director and Strategist currently consulting national / global clients.

Christina has extensive experience in both UX/digital and brand identity/marketing spheres. She has worked with clients from a variety of fields including Government, Technology, Tourism and Travel, Fortune 500, Nonprofit, Education, Food Tech, Startup, Entertainment and Life Style. She has been successfully building brands and digital experiences for B2B and B2C clients for over a decade. 

Her most recent project, The Doodle Challenge (TDC), is an exciting cognitive game and app based in neuroscience, psychology and art/design theory that reduces stress and boosts creativity, communication and problem solving skills in adults and children. Passionate about aiding individuals in better understanding themselves and unlocking their creativity, Christina created The Doodle Challenge out of a need to solve for burnout in teams and individuals as well as reduce stress levels in work/life situations that can impact cognitive function and artistic expression. 

Previously,  Christina was a Creative Director for Capital One, creating targeted brand identities, marketing campaigns, content, social, events and interactive experiences/products that spanned across multiple channels and media. 

Christina is passionate about blending psychology, design, UX and training/development. In her past as a Creative Director for an interactive company, she delivered engaging e-learning and simulation experiences for various departments of the US Federal Government including DOD, the Federal Aviation Administration and GSA. In addition to directing the online e-learning initiatives, she developed the brand identity for this Inc. 500 company. Increasing trade show results by using inventive and highly effective ways to showcase the company’s brand in exhibit and event spaces.  


In addition she founded her own creative agency, Tyto Studio which was in operation from 2009-2016 that focused heavily on web / app conception and development. 

Knowledgeable in the application of psychology and how the mind influences customer buying decisions and behavior change, she has also served as the Design Lead for a globally known brain assessment company, conceptualizing and designing digital and print products, creating the company's new global branding asset strategy and developing an internal platform to better manage design projects, brand standards and creative team members.

As Program Director as well as adjunct Art & Design Educator, she previously developed unique learning experiences for children, teens, college, adult and international students. Effective in instructional design with multiple nonprofits and educational institutions, she has reshaped curriculum packages, digital/in-class learning tools, fundraising campaigns and marketing strategies for national and global audiences. Christina received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from The White House for her involvement in the educational World Children’s Art Festival held at the National Mall. 


Caring about STEAM initiatives, Christina founded Tyto Kids, which produced original educational soft products, games, e-books, apps and content to teach children about cultures and traditions found around the world and in their own backyard.


Global in her perspective, she has worked in New York, Washington DC, and London and has had clients located all over the world.  Christina is an honors graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, trained in the ADDIE model, Design Thinking, Agile Development and is UX Certified.


Among her strengths are CX, UX, creative direction, brand identity, creative strategy, web and social presence, UI, research & testing, print/digital product development, content, instructional design, marketing, illustration, graphic design, and events.
